AIT international awards, organized by German architectural publication AIT, to look for, find and acknowledge the best architecture and most outstanding interior design projects in Europe, America, Asia and all other regions of the world. A total of 723 projects from 36 countries have been submitted this year. An international jury selected the best projects and decided which ones are to be honoured with an award or distinction. Town Hall in Escatron, by Magen Arquitectos, awarded as one of the best public buildings, is also in the exhibition.

A total of 573 projects from 31 countries have been submitted this year. An international jury selected the best projects and decided which ones are to be honoured with an award or distinction. This year, the award-winners come from Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal, Switzerland, Slovenia, and Spain. Bajo Martin County HQ in Hijar (Teruel), by Magen Arquitectos, awarded as one of the best buildings of offices, is also in the exhibition.

MEA2013 Awards to Sustainable Mediterranean Architecture. Building green. Athens, Greece. 2013.
The MEA2013 Awards honors the most innovative and creative design solutions that have been completed during the last five years in the Mediterranean zone. The goal is to enhance exchange of ideas on environmentally conscious design, and enrich the ecological sustainability approach. It also aims at highlighting projects that follow the principles of sustainability in architecture mainly through environmentally responsive passive design solutions. Implementation of natural systems and mild technologies is more welcome than high performance applications. Ebro Environmental Centre, as one of the winners of the MEA2013 Awards, was exhibited in Building Green Expo, focused on Sustainable Architecture and Energy Efficiency, from 4th to 6th October in MEC Expo Center in Athens.

The National Board of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservation Architects, ANCE-Associazione Nazionale Costruttori Edili and LEGAMBIENTE promote the RI.U.SO program, involving the leading players in the construction and environmental sectors, to stimulate the architectural, environmental, energetic and social requalification of Italian cities. In this context, the CNAPPC is promoting a selection of the best design projects and innovative realizations in the sector of Sustainable Urban Regeneration, in collaboration with SAIE, Europaconcorsi, Edilio, L’Architetto and Point ZERO.
The jury selected the Ebro Environmental Centre in Zaragoza, by Magén Arquitectos, as one of the 30 selected projects, of more than 400 participants. All projects were exhibited in SAIE 2013, Salone Internazionale dell’Innovazione Edilizia from 16th to 19th October.

Magen Architects took part in the exhibition «Zaragoza. Emotional portrait of the city » in which a total of 216 artists from all sectors (plastics, photographers, graphic designers, illustrators, graffiti, architects, sculptors, writers, poets, journalists and comics) reflected their vision from Zaragoza based in a map of the city.

Magén Arquitectos has been awarded with the First Prize in the Contest SAIE Selection 10, in the Category Young Architects section Wood, with Ebro Environmental Centre. The awarded works in the Contest, on the theme “Integrating to build – Highly integrated innovative and sustainable buildings “, were exposed in a special dedicated exhibition “Cuore Mostra SAIE 2010″ in the framework of the SAIE International Building Exhibition in Bolognafiere from 27th to 30th October.

The exhibition “Ugo Rivolta European Architecture Award 2009″, dedicated to the best Social Housing buildings done in Europe in the last five years, was held in Fondazione Triennale de Milano ( viale Alemagna, 6).
