The Swedish School of Planning organizes an International Seminar \u201cPlanning for Sustainable Urban Form\u201d to provide a forum to debate on sustainability with focus on planning and urban form. The Seminar will gather professors and architects\u00a0 from different countries (Germany, Netherlands, Norway,\u00a0 Singapore, Spain Switzerland\u00a0 and United Kingdom), representing a broad disciplinary filed, ranging from planning to architecture on November 12th to 14th, 2014 at Blekinge Institute of Technology (Karlskrona, Sweden). Francisco Javier Magen Pardo has been selected to lecture in the Session \u201cUrban form, agency and sustainable development\u201d.<\/p><\/div>

Pirelli organizes the Meeting \u201cTalent at Work\u201d, with nine internationally recognized emerging artists and designers, from Brazil, Italy, Denmark, China, Ireland, Bosnia and Spain, from the fields of Architecture, furniture design, fashion, cinema, gastronomy and music. Among the, Jaime Magen is the only selected architect.<\/p>

A lecture dedicated to the work by Miguel Fisac was held in the University of Zaragoza last 3rd because of his centenary, with interventions by Professors I\u00f1aki Bergera, Eduardo Delgado, Ricardo S\u00e1nchez Lampreave, Zaira Peinado y Jaime Mag\u00e9n, related to the most importants moments of the career of one the most outstanding Spanish architects in 20th Century.<\/p>

Jaime and Francisco Javier Mag\u00e9n lectured at the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra in which they show their latest projects, some of them included in the book \u201cMag\u00e9n Arquitectos 2002-2012\u2033. The lecture closed the Master\u2019s Degree in Environmental Design and Management of Buildings, addressing the issue of sustainability through different projects. The lecture, titled \u201cMaterial Landscapes\u201d, was based on the idea of promoting the dialogue with the landscape and the implementation of mild strategies of sustainability, which is more than just energy efficiency.<\/p>
